If there is something you can read about 1987's Robocop, it is not that there is a senseless action movie that was reveling in the excess of violence and Gore say (although all these elements are present). What makes Robocop one of the best action films of the 80s is the fact that it does not say with only a violent action tale in the near future met. He wanted a cautionary example of what happened in the future if companies the opportunity to receive the government police forces. It is a film of the demonstrations revel against senseless violence, while at the same time.
It is through this violence officer Alex J. Murphy (Peter Weller) is in the line of duty in Old Detroit killed in front of his partner, Officer Anne Lewis (Nancy Allen), which is only one or two rooms and hear the screams when he is shot down. The people whether they are citizens or criminals shot again with little thought about the consequences to Murphy as Robocop, the OCP Corporation's newest tool in the "war on the crimes. "With only three Robocop's prime directives, and clean up the city to the crime, whether it is a regular liquor store robbery or an attempted Rape. No crime with impunity in the city now that he's there.
Robocop is a symbol of eternal loyalty to both OCP as its newest property and the Old Town Detroit, which protect it under all circumstances. It is not until he realizes not be the corruption within the OCP eternal loyalty are such a good thing, as he himself is on the wrong side of the law to reduce crime in the OCP Corporation.
Weller keeps an excellent job bringing to mankind are Robocop should, if it does not. It is important for the public to believe that, Robocop, ultimately a choice in the way that it works and no longer has an instrument of OCP Corporation the way it is so important, in the last scene of the film that, Robocop does not have the helmet that hides his identity. It is important that we see Robocop's Eyes and believe that even through all the metal and artificial casings, there is still a human being underneath. In the end, when The Old Man (Dan O'Herlihy) Robocop asks what his name, Robocop responded "Murphy" to which we now recognize Robocop become people than any other in the movie.
Director Paul Verhoeven has presented an excellent job in the script by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner, which is violent and uncompromising, while the tragic and mythical. The cinematography by Sol Negrin and Jost Vacano is remarkably rich in a city on the brink of complete collapse, and diseases, compounded by the Production Design and Art Direction (William Sandell and Gayle Simon, still is respectfully). Verhoeven these would re-issues again in Total Recall (1990) and Starship Troopers (1997), but it is in this film that he created an original Classic with no other competitors.
